HOME is New York City's original farm-to-table restaurant, established in 1993. Our mission is to provide a sustainable dining experience in the West Village. Dedicated to showcasing the abundance of locally raised and produced products from our own agriculturally rich and diverse region; we also believe in supporting the local businesses and artisans within Greenwich Village and New York City.
At HOME Restaurant, you will find an unpretentious, modern, yet comfortable atmosphere and a culinary team, led by Executive Chef Scott C. Brown, that believes in the integrity of the ingredients used to craft and execute his menu. Drawing on his experience cooking in New York, Colorado, France and Spain Chef Scott brings an inventive, playful and flavor rich aesthetic to HOME's cuisine. It is a source of pride to support local New York and New Jersey farms and artisanal businesses, whose hard work and dedication produce the superior ingredients that are the backbone of HOME's, seasonal American menu.
Critics' Pick, NY Mag 'The ad said 'FOR SALE—A COZY 30-SEAT GREENWICH VILLAGE RESTAURANT WITH A ROMANTIC GARDEN.'
Founding owners David Page and Barbara Shinn didn’t resist. Still fresh and cozy today, Home celebrates the same midwestern-style with amazingly greaseless fried onion rings, mac ’n’ cheese topped with bread crumbs and cooked in a skillet, and Grandma’s chocolate pudding with the same gentle prices.'
